Below are some of the things that happened to me recently...

Now that I’m working in PA and got chances to interact with CC staff only then I realised that some CC staffs really cannot make it. Some of them are really 老人痴呆, I talk about this, they give me that. One example, I had to call some CC staff informing them about on Friday night, however some of the CC had already off duty at that time. The following is the extract of the conversation:

Me: Hi, I’m calling from xxx, looking for xxx.
Him: oh he off duty, today work morning shift.
Me: Oh then will he be in on Monday?
Him: he will be in tomorrow morning, you can try calling him tomorrow morning.
Me: Ok, will he be in on Monday? Can you check for me?
Him: He tomorrow morning will be in, you can call him tomorrow.
Me: (Okay wtf!!) Never mind, can I leave a message then?
Him: Can you just call him tomorrow? He will be in after 10.
Me yelling: BUT I TOMORROW OFF! IT’S SATURDAY LEH!!!!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Anyway let’s talk about another incident…

Office politics; unwillingly get involve in them. One fine day my boss suddenly ask me into her room, she told me secretly that she wanted me to write down what time all the colleagues come to work everyday. I was like shit! Must I really backstab my colleagues! Sandwiched between the boss and the other colleagues. Luckily, my boss’s memory is really bad, so hope she really forgets about what she says because I really don’t want to backstab my colleagues.

Library

Just when you think that people in CC are strange, people in the library are really tough nut to crack!

For example some people will force you to look for books, when they can simply look for them themselves, it’s like when I’m so busy at the counter alone answering enquiry and there are so many people in the queue and they still have the cheek to ask you to search for book. If I search for them, the others in the queue will be unhappy, if I don’t, they will be unhappy…. Haiz tough indeed…

Some people are also damn cheapskate, I had an experience with 1 aunty who demand the library to waive her fine, and it’s only 15 cent!! I was like Arghhhh!!!!! Wtf they really poor until like that meh! Actually if they want they can don’t pay, because the amount will just stay inside the account without interest. Sometime these people are really rude too and don’t have any basic sense of courtesy and respect for the staff, really treats the staff like servant!

Haiz been really busy with work these days, and I seriously feel that it is having a very negative effect on my social life, been wanting to do so many things, but I just don’t have the time. Haiz had been feeling guilty postponing the KTV session this Sunday just because I have to work on that day…

Haiz.... suddenly feel that I had miss out on so many things....
