(The post below is highly sensitive and please do not read if you are a Christian...)
I always thought that love is something so strong that people are willing to die for it, remember Romeo and Juliet, or Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Yin Tai? But in reality, there is something much more difficult to conquer, more important than life for some, and that is religion…
I mean, wtf!? Life is like something that is the most important in this world, and everything that one’s do actually revolving around it, and wtf is something that is imaginary, non-existence and maybe to some extent “fake” have such a large and overbearing influence over one’s life, over one’s choice of action and even something like love, which is so sacred and beautiful…
I had heard of many stories about how Christian and non-Christian parted because of religious reasons. Anyway what is wrong with couples with different religious background? Will it affect their mindless pursuit to go heaven (something that may not even exist in the first place)? Looking around the world, there is no evident that supports the notion that couples with different religion results in unhappy marriages. Can’t different religions co-exist peacefully? Can’t a Christian accept someone as what they are, irregardless of religion? Why are they always so over-protective over their own religion, and sometime to the extent of defaming the religion of others?
Actually it’s not that I don’t like Christian. I had quite a number of good friends who are Christians. It’s just that I feel that religion shouldn’t have such an overbearing influence over one’s life. It should only guide oneself to a certain extent and not treat everything (such as catching a cab) as a blessing from god, which is totally senseless to me!!
Actually I am just silly to talk about something so sensitive, but after seeing people around me getting hurt because of something so stupid just makes me go nuts!!!
Maybe they just need to wake up their ideas!!!!!!!!!
